My mom's boss was paying her some extra money from her job. She gets a bonus for every premium denture she sells. Apparently he's been paying it to her cell phone number. A phone which was turned off at the time so there was no notification. Now she has a new service plan with her old number and I don't know how to get this money for her. I tried everything reasonable. I linked her phone to my personal account, then clicked on the link that says "activate phone" (which just texts her the SAME code repeatedly. Bare with me on this one, I'm going to explain for context. So, I contacted someone on FB about a Funko POP I'd like to purchase from them. Now, I heard many stories of never giving money to someone you DON'T PERSONALLY know using Friends and Family. But I'd like to pay them and be covered. However, if I choose the Paying a Seller option, he's forced to pay the fees. So, do I have protection if I pay with F&F or is there a way to pay via Seller and NOT charge him the fees? ... View more
