Welcome to the PayPal Community! I can certainly understand where it would be frustrating to receive notification of an unauthorized payment. 😞
You would probably want to check out our Seller Protection Policy, to see if you qualify to be covered under that. If you are, and we find the case in the sender's favor (meaning we confirm there is unauthorized activity), PayPal would credit you for the loss instead of you having to absorb it.
