A "Unclaimed" payment that usually indicates that the email or mobile phone number that you sent money to is not confirmed on your friends PayPal account.   Please double-check that you spelled out your friends email address/phone number correctly by checking your PayPal Activity page. If you misspelled their email or phone number you'll need to cancel the transaction and try again. If you did spell their email/phone correctly when sending the payment you will want to contact your friend and advise them to confirm their email/mobile phone number on their PayPal account.   If your friend is unsure how to do this (or if you'd like help for yourself!) we'd love for a chance to help. As for me my phones are in my name yet PayPal doesn't seem to agree and I continue to have the same irritating problem with verifying my phone even though I have faxed every piece of information to PayPal to prove who I am. Every time I call or email I am continuously told my account is restored and I can use it but something still doesn't click on the PayPal and and nope I can't use my account and it still won't verify my number. I would love for PayPal to fix this issue because I promise whatever your going to tell me to do I have already done more then once  ... View more

It has never showed up at all. I have done it for the past week and a half and even asked for a new code a couple of times. It said it would take a couple of days so I have checked everyday and nothing shows up on my bank account as pending or a completed transaction.  ... View more

Hi there and welcome to PayPal!   When you go to make a purchase the our system will recognize that your account with us does not carry a balance. At that time it will have you select a payment method to use (in this instance your bank account) and it will deduct the necessary amount. If you decide to one day link more than one card/bank account it will give you a menu to select your funding method from your available options on the list.   I hope this helps! ... View more

You can use the bank immediately after adding it to your PayPal account.   If you'd like help fixing your PayPal's negative balance you can always give PayPal's collections phone line a call by clicking Help&Contact at the bottom of any PayPal page. Hi there!   When you send a payment we (PayPal) immediately start pulling the money from your bank. Once this process starts PayPal doesn't have a way to cancel the bank transfer that is already underway. What this means for you is that instead of the money from your bank going to this other person... it goes to your PayPal balance instead! From there you can withdraw it back to your bank or use it for your next PayPal transactions.   Quick tip: if you get a refund before the bank transfer completes your refund will show up as "pending". As soon as your ACH transfer from your bank completes (usually in 3-4 business days from the original transaction date) your refund will get moved into your available balance. ... View more

While most US bank transfers take only 1 business day they can sometimes take 3-5 business days depending on a few different things. Just a quick reminder: your PayPal account shows "Completed" next to a transfer to indicate that PayPal has completed it's half of the processing and has batched your funds out to your bank. Your account showing "Completed" does not indicate the transfer has completed all the way to your bank as they will have to complete their portion of the processing to receive your transfer.   If your bank transfer goes on longer than 7 business days (most banks do not process on weekends or federal holidays) you can always request PayPal to perform a trace on your missing withdrawal.
