I have a verified PayPal acct that I’ve had and successfully used since 2003. Recently I had to change my bank acct info because I had to close my checking acct and open a new one due to fraud. I updated my PayPal with the new checking acct and confirmed the acct. I have the checking acct listed as  my preferred method of payment just like I did with my previous checking account. However now when I try to use PayPal to pay my checking account does not come up as an option, pay after delivery does not work even though I have it activated on my account and used to work just fine, and on eBay I’m getting an error message saying my PayPal isn’t working at all period. Anyone have any idea what is going on? I have  not received any emails or anything from PayPal saying I have a limitation on my account. I also do not have any credit or debit card linked to my account at this time. And when I do link a debit card then PayPal will only allow me to use the debit card to pay and still will not allow me to use my checking account. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?  ... I used PAD yesterday on Ebay, today not available, tomorrow praying it will be. There is literally no rhyme or reason the when it works and when it doesn’t. I’ve been using it for years on Ebay, most days it shows up, sometimes it doesn’t and I just wait a day or two and it comes back. I will say this, I commented yesterday in this forum about how unhappy I am that PAD went from 14 days to 10 days just yesterday and then bam, today PAD isn’t available to me. Coincidence?????? You decide..... ... View more

I also never received an email or notification on my account about this change. I’m also an avid PAD user and loved the option of having 2weeks until next payday for my purchases. Now that PayPal has made this change I won’t be making as many online purchases using the option of PAD since it does nothing to help me be able to afford more. I thought PAD was to give you more time to pay, period. Not about how quickly something ships or arrives. This is not a good move and clearly has made a lot of people unhappy. PayPal I hope you will reconsider this change and go back to 14 days for all PAD. I think you going to lose a lot of business now with this unnecessary change. It was working before, if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. ... View more
