I sell games from an item off ebay. There is a girl, let's just call her Geo, who bought $500 worth of items from me. All small amounts for a ton of items from the game. All went well, she gave me her username, we met up I gave the item, and then she left me a review and all was well. 2 months later, I get a dispute open on my PayPal where she is saying that $300 worth of the items were unauthorized. Like I said, all small amounts for a ton of items but Geo was trying to refund one for $90 one for $100 and another for $100 so each were large amounts. Their claim was that the purchases were not authorized. I couldn't believe it . It didn't make any sense, how 2 months can go by and you don't see $300 missing. So I went onto YouTube to see if this girl had a channel. I searched up her game username and found her channel. Looking a bit more, I found her real life Instagram. I contacted her and asked her if I could do an interview with her about ebay and the game, she said sure. I skyped and recorded the whole conversation. I asked her if there's any scammers from ebay and she says no, except these 2 girls that tried to scam her (she continues explaining but she doesn't talk about me as a scammer) and then I ask if there's any very trustworthy sellers. She tells me one person's ebay username, and then she says mine! I say "so she delivers all the items?" and she says, "yes".    I continue with the fake interview for YouTube and ask "do you use your own bank or do you use your moms" she says that she has her own and she was bumped up to 13 and got her own card. She proceeds to give me her ebay username and her mom's , the one she used to buy my items.   I ask "do you ever refund items?" and she says "yes sometimes" and I ask why, and she says "I don't know, I just feel like it." I also ask if she stills plays the game, and she says "No, I got hacked and then my hacker banned me so I don't have any items anymore." so I ask "So the items you buy off ebay, did you trade them all or did they get scammed?" She tells me the same thing. The entire time FYI she thinks I'm interviewing her, she has 0 idea that I'm the person she's trying to scam. So my guess is that she's trying to refund it because she is unable to use the items anymore. I confront her and she tells me to get out of her business and that her MOM Is refunding it because she believes it was not a good worth of her money. WHICH IS NOT MY ISSUE how she spends her money!   I quit the game and sold my items which took me about 4 years to obtain! I get paid, I send the item, I follow my promise and the rules! How is it my fault that her daughter spends her money on a game?! How is it my fault that Geo got hacked and can't use the items anymore?! So I send this all into the open cases. I send screenshots, recordings, and to assure them that it isn't edited, I even recorded it from an external camera. BUT today I just got notified I have lost the case and I've never been so upset. This is all my money for Christmas and my big family and I've never been so devastated... What should I do?   Paypal suggested I reach out to her and try to resolve it, so I did once again but as myself. I tell her that if she closes the dispute, I would give her a super rare item from the game, so she says she'll do it. She messages PayPal using the email she bought the items from (her mom's email) and asks them to close the disputes but it's not enough because it was opened with her bank, she does not have PayPal. I tell her to call her bank, and she says her mom closed her bank after all of this happened and she doesn't know her bank number or anything because her mom controls her. Please help me! I dont know what to do, I've lost all my money to a scammer. I'm trying to find out her bank right now and see if I can contact them myself with all this information but she won't budge. OK SO, someone opened a dispute on me on my old paypal account which is on the same email as my new one. I couldn't respond to the dispute so I emailed their chargeback email instead, which they applied all my information into the case. BUT, it DIDN'T mark it as if I responded to it and I'm supposed to respond before the 27th or it will be automatically closed and the person will be automatically charged back !!!! BUT I CAN'T RESPOND TO IT! I thought that by emailing paypal, they would mark it as if I responded to it but they haven't and they have been ignoring all my emails I've sent to them about it the past few weeks and instead send me automated messages that don't help! It is now the 26th, will the case be closed EXACTLY when the clock hits 12 am or will it be at the end of the day of the 27th because I am now planning on calling PayPal since they will not respond to my emails. ... Also, it was a digital good. I am so upset because I know for a fact it is a lie. The person even left me positive feedback for all the items including "nice, fast shipping, good communication" and all! Can't paypal check where the purchase was made because all 3 were made from australia including paying with australia money reverting to usd.... how can they be in favor of it even when they avoided the 21 days of the protection and then an additional 2 months?! ... Please help, i was filed a dispute on my closed paypal account. i sold an item for a game (which i read ebay rules and it said it's allowed as long as it's not stolen) and a person paid me money for it. They bought from me 3 times for amounts over $90 for super very rare items that took me super long to obtain. This was 2 months ago. We left each other positive reviews on ebay as it was successful. This morning they have filed a dispute marking it as "unauthorized purchase". i have every single ebay message still and i even recorded me giving them the item and receiving the payment. Same thing happened to me but with  a virtual item. I recorded the transaction , the person buying the item , giving the username, describing their character, and me sending out the item. They also left me positive feedback for $70 items. Will I be fine too?  ... View more
