I bought a fake item on Ebay and after the seller said she wasn't responsible, I opened a dispute. Paypal would refund me if I'd send the item back to seller. The seller told me in a message on Ebay that I should use a different address than the one stated in her Paypal account. So I did, I sent it with a track&trace code. Then, the seller told Ebay I used a wrong address. I called the local carrier in The Netherlands (where I sent the item from, to the UK) and they said the address was right, the track&trace code just showed some in between address. After a while I saw it was delivered at the right address (the address the seller provided me). I called Paypal and I had to send the Ebay conversation en the representive saw that the item was delivered since she looked at the website of Royal Mail. In The Netherlands we have a carrier called 'post.nl', and the carrier that takes over the shipment when reaching the UK is Royal Mail. The track&trace code can only be viewed at Royal Mail, not at post.nl. And then Paypal closed the dispute in favour of the SELLER, because they said that I didn't provide me with the right tracking information. They did not look at the Royal Mail website. I did send the right information, I even have all the information still here. I'm baffled and angry. It's €350,- we're talking about, I had to send a fake item back at my dispenses and this fake item could be sold again. I'm unwillingly helping someone to commit a crime. I want a solution!
