@PDijk Firstly if it was FAKE and you could have provided written proof from trading standards or a store / company that sold / produced the genuine article then you would not have had to return the item. If paypal has proof its fake they can't ask you to return it as its against the law to sell fakes and by saying to return it they are enabling it to be sold again illegally. Secondly this is were you missed out > The seller told me in a message on Ebay that I should use a different address than the one stated in her Paypal account. So I did, You should always return an item to the address that the item was sent from and the address paypal give you to return the item to. The seller probably knew that if you did not return the item to the PAYPAL REGISTERED ADDRESS of the seller then you would lose any dispute.
