I sold a brand new face cream still sealed 41 days ago. The buyer left good feedback but has now sent a message via ebay saying that the product has nothing in it and it's faulty? For all I know, she's just used it herself, the product was completely sealed! She's out of the ebay refund timeframe, but i'm afraid she may try and get a refund through paypal or her card company. What rights do I have? I'm not a business, just selling a duplicate product I had. I use this product myself and only sold this as I was bought another as a gift so didn't have any need for 2. It was brand new. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm all for buyer protection, but if they've confirmed they're happy and opened a product, should they be allowed a refund after all this time?
