@m_a_r_s_22   I can only think that is what he means. Because there is no way to request a refund. Unless you send him a payment request but the paypal system will pick that up as a goods and service payment so i would say not to do that.   He should really just click on refund on his side, Its that easy. He is making you do all the work when all he needs to do is click a button. ... View more

@BA22   If you paid via card the funds will be sent back to the card. That email you received is just the norm. Because PayPal process the payment they will alway ssay its gone back to your account. The fact that the card was used means the refund will be sent back to the card. Same as you pay in store with a card and get a refund it will just take a few days to appear. With the weekend coming up it could be by next week you will see it. ... View more

But if you have a Business account you can apply for whats knows as Merchant Fees.    Scroll down the bottom and go to fees. click 'Selling with PayPal' and click based on total sales volume   This will show you the merchant fee rate.   🙂 ... Its strange as I only see the refunds in the PayPal app on my phone. I see several entries similar to: "Bank Account Refund sent" -£1.73 one for each of the failed payments.     ... View more
