I haven't gotten much help from PayPal, so hopefully someone who has experienced the same issue can lead me in the right direction.. I'm currently using Uber to travel to and from school while studying internationally, and I'm using PayPal as a payment for the Uber app. As you all know, with PayPal you can hold a balance and also connect your bank account in case your balance hits zero. Well, I checked my PayPal and my bank account balances today, and I realized that I'm being charged for each individual Uber ride in both accounts. According to my Uber app, I have only taken 21 rides since May 30th, but I have been charged 21 times in my PayPal account and 13 additional times in my bank account. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I tried calling the PayPal customer service number, but I guess most of their offices are closed right now (of all times, I would notice this issue at 9PM on a Sunday). I guess my main question is, how should I go about getting my money back? I believe I've been overcharged roughly MX$600 or US$35. I have the Uber reciepts and my PayPal/bank statements, but I'm not sure where to begin. Also, I'm not even entirely sure if this is solely a PayPal issue or if Uber is at fault.. I just assumed PayPal since they process all the payments and have access to both of my accounts. Let me know what you think.
