I tried to create a PayPal account a few months ago, and got the message that my email address was already in use. Tried a few of my usual passwords - no luck. So I pressed "forgot password" and got an error message: "Sorry, something went wrong on our end. Please try again." Didn't work after numerous tries. I just tried again, and got the same error message. I had a look at PayPal's FAQs, and it wasn't there. Cleared cache and cookies. Googled it, but nobody seems to have had this same issue - even when the email address is in use, it allows a password reset email to be sent. Phoned PayPal as a guest, gave up after being on hold for 45 minutes. (!) Created a new email address, solely to make a PayPal account, so I could send a message. Got an automated reply suggesting I try everything I've already done. This is my last hope! Using this email address isn't really out of the question, but I'd much rather use the one I use on a daily basis. Thank you!
