I've just had the same thing happen to me. Seller claimed item was delivered when I didn't have it. Item got delivered to the wrong address (not my fault). Seller then tells me I have to contact the freight company. I have no claim with the freight company and no legal right to inquire as the Seller has a deal with the freight company not me.
Not done yet. Item is not the size the seller claimed. So stuck with item that had, in the fine print, no returns. Never had a problem like this in 15 years, but suddenly multiple seller problems within a couple of weeks.
Another seller shipped me an expensive jewelry item that was fake. Seriously. And again, Ebay shut out the claim, I can't get back into it, and am still waiting for a $400.00 refund.
It's beginning to look like buying off of ebay is turning into the equivalent of a garage sale with no quality of guarantee at all, and Ebay is shutting stuff down cold so there is no way to offset false advertising.
This completely eliminates my confidence in purchasing other than very small items. This encourages me to go back to buying stuff at the store or on Amazon, because they still appreciate their customers.
Seller for those who are wondering is xxxxxxx. There should be a place for ebayers to check for bad sellers.
Just like your situation, when I finally got into the guts of her 98% plus approval rating, it was for 46 items in 5 years. I checked out her other items and she is misadvertising those as well.
