@Temp20220622af I've read section 75 doesn't even nessicarily apply if you use a credit card via Paypal, so I may not have even had a case; Loads of folks chargeback via their cards if disputes fail, myself included. Credit companies will protect you if its a purchase for an item. I could go to the small claims court next, but who really goes to such effort for £65. Thats why its called ''small claims'', depends how aggrieved you feel against the seller. If a seller is told that you are going to chase them this way its amazing how many refund you to get rid of you. PayPal should be protecting buyers as a credit card issuer would otherwise there is no longer an incentive for me to use PayPal as a buyer Paypal gives you some buyer and some seller protection but it is not a 100% cover-all. I agree that I would never pay for an expensive item via paypal, I would use my c.c. then, but for small purchases it is convenient.
