Because my account was used fradulently by someone who somehow managed to get my informattion. Customer Service was less than helpful. I opened claims regarding the fradulent charges, and was told by Customer Service they had to pay them before they could open claims. I had to close my bank accounts and open new ones to avoid going overdrawn with these false charges. Now I am trying to close my PayPal account - and for more than 2 weeks I get this message every time "Sorry, there's a problem. If you keep seeing this, please contact customer service." Yeah - I've contacted Customer Service who says only to keep trying. I'm done trying. CLOSE MY ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY PLEASE!
