I started selling on eBay some 3 months ago, now I've sold at least 150 items without any claim and for now I have reached 100% positive seller feedback. So couple of days ago PayPal freezed my balance and wanted to confirm my personal identity. Attached all of my postage certificates, proofs, sensitive information including passport image, bank account statement to a PayPal resolution center, I had nothing to worry about. So next day I contacted PayPal via phone, just to know how are things going and when I could start sending goods again to my customers, I was told to wait for an e-mail with a response to your question. Finally I got an e-mail: "PayPal appeal denied , We regret to inform you that we're initiating the closure of your PayPal account because of certain activity that took place relating to your account. This measure is necessary to protect us from potential financial losses." Called them back just to ask what caused the problem, I was told that they're not allowed to talk about my account via phone - well.. interesting.. Now when they have all my sensitive information, I'm not allowed to know the reason of this case. Good job PayPal, so know we all know how you treat your sellers, who invest their own savings just to offer a good customer service and make an extra income - just by freezing all the balance for at least 30 or 180 DAYS and not saying a thing about a reason what caused it. Fantasic! I give a PayPal just a little "high five", if my balance is not available most lately 10/01/2017, we'll take the next steps forward. Just a little warning to sellers, who still have a faith in PayPal.
