Hi there. I'm just writing to enquire about a problem I received today in regards to a deficit in my Paypal account. Last week I sent money to a friend's Paypal account, but today I received an email stating that it had been reversed due to insufficient funds. My Paypal is linked directly to my bank account and the money is always lifted directly from there, so while there might not have been funds in my Paypal, they were in my bank. Anyway, the money that I sent not only didn't go through, but Iit appeared in my Paypal account as owing it. Basically, the amount I sent which didn't go through became a deficit, which I've had to repay to restore my Paypal account to credit. Yesterday I had to cancel my bank card due to it being faulty, so I'm not sure whether having no card linked to my account has interfered with the process of Paypal lifting the money from my bank account, incurring my debt as a result. However, I am wondering what's happened to the money I sent? Will it be reimbursed in a few days? (according to my Paypal activity I'm not due any refunds). Is the debt a fine because Paypal couldn't access my bank for whatever reason? I'm stumped. Best, Kieran
