I sold an item in the USA. The customer sent payment of $430 U.S. HOWEVER, Pay Pal automatically exchanged the US currency to Canadian currency, and in the process, charged me 2.5% fee over and above their usual 2.9% fee. When I asked that the U.S.money submitted be submitted to me in US DOLLARS, the female agent said it was a glitch in the system, and would be resolved immediately. When that did not occur, I phoned again and a male agent said, "I can't do anything about it." Looks like one of the agents was lying. Add that to a phoney 2.5% charge for exchanging money and I believe some smart lawyer has grounds for a class action law suit for millions of dollars.
