I bought a Sony TV off of Ebay that was listed as new. The TV broke within 2 months. I contacted Sony and they looked up the serial number and it turns out the TV is not new but refurbished. Since this TV is not new but refurbished that means it has no warranty. I filed a dispute with PayPal and ruled against me a couple hours later stating: "During our review, we found that your seller had sufficiently described the merchandise." Here is the original listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/232068370462?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT No mention of this TV being a refurb. If I knew this set was a refurb I would of never bought it. I have appealed 2 times already and I get the same response. "During our review, we found that your seller had sufficiently described the merchandise." How can that be possible? How can you sell a refurb TV as new and Paypal thinks this seller sufficiently described the merchandise? Is there anything I can do about this?
