I sold a used Xbox One I bought refurbished a few weeks ago. I made sure to list the item as refurbished in the description. The buyer would of never of known the difference if I didn't point that out. Since none of this seems to matter I should of just left that part out and just sold it as used. Or maybe just "New other" and say it was a factory second, open box item. Could of made some more money that way and if the buyer ever found out I would have ZERO repercussions anyway. ... View more

@sumiko wrote:   ------------------------------------------------------------- It looks like the seller has accurately described the item -factory second or unused with defect.     This television is not a factory second. Sony told me flatly that the TV was used, returned and re-certified. So the seller should have listed the item as "Manufacturer refurbished" as the condition. Selling this TV as "New other" is blatantly false.    Oh and trust me, I learned my lesson. I'll never buy another item like this off Ebay ever again. I'm just mad that this guy is getting away with this. ... View more

I bought a Sony TV off of Ebay that was listed as new. The TV broke within 2 months. I contacted Sony and they looked up the serial number and it turns out the TV is not new but refurbished. Since this TV is not new but refurbished that means it has no warranty.    I filed a dispute with PayPal and ruled against me a couple hours later stating: "During our review, we found that your seller had sufficiently described the merchandise."   Here is the original listing:   http://www.ebay.com/itm/232068370462?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT   No mention of this TV being a refurb. If I knew this set was a refurb I would of never bought it.    I have appealed 2 times already and I get the same response. "During our review, we found that your seller had sufficiently described the merchandise."   How can that be possible? How can you sell a refurb TV as new and Paypal thinks this seller sufficiently described the merchandise? Is there anything I can do about this?     ... View more

A Ebay seller doesn't have to disclose that they are selling a refurbished product now? How can they rule against me? ... View more
