Hello Adrian, I am trying to link my Canadian Paypal account to my US bank account but have incurred some problems. I have contacted my bank, as well as Paypal support several times. The support staff at Paypal have not been the least bit helpful. Currently, I am again trying to link the bank account and it is still in the process of being confirmed but I have still not received the two small deposits that you have mentioned in your post. I am truly frustrated and appalled by the kind of response I have received from Paypal in this matter. Please, I would appreciate it if you could assist me in this matter, otherwise I would have no other option but to withdraw my funds completely, and abandon Paypal altogether. Regards, Mespinoza @PayPal_Adrianwrote: Hi MelissaTutoring, I'm sorry for any confusion on this. Canadian accounts can add a US bank account, although the system may disallow the attempt and you would have to contact customer service to have an override placed. You can reach us via phone, email, Facebook, and even Twitter! I don't normally copy and paste instructions off of our site, but here's how to add a US bank account, word for word. These instructions are for the new, updated website. "Here’s how to add a US bank account to your Canadian PayPal account: Log in to your PayPal account. Click Wallet. Click Link a bank. Choose I have a different bank. Follow the prompted steps to add your US bank account. If you enter the numbers manually or you don't see an option for instant bank confirmation, we’ll confirm your bank account by sending 2 small deposits to the bank account you want to confirm. After 2 to 3 business days, review your bank statement or contact your bank to find out the exact amounts of these deposits. With this information, you can complete the confirmation process online. Here’s how to complete the confirmation process online: Log in to your PayPal account. Click Wallet near the top of the page. Click the bank you want to confirm. Enter the exact amounts of the 2 deposits made to your account, then click Submit. Note: The random deposits are temporary and will eventually be debited from your bank account. You need to confirm your bank account before you can move money from your bank account to your PayPal account. Note: Your routing number is the first set of numbers at the bottom of your check. The routing number usually has 9 digits. Your bank account number is the second set of numbers at the bottom of your check. If you receive the message, "Check and Try again," you may have typed the number wrong, or we may not accept your bank. Checking and savings accounts from the same bank may have different routing numbers. You need to confirm your bank account before you can move money from your bank account to your PayPal account." Thanks, Adrian
