Are we the customers or not? Is this company from the country that claims to always listen to their customers?  Well, there really IS a way to show PayPal that you don't like the way the site is layed and that they aren't prepared to admit making a mistake and back down. It's quite simple. Dutch PayPal. If you made dealing with a customer that doesn't use PayPal do you give up and not sell to them/buy from them? No of course not. You pay by using your own credit card. Even better nowadays we can use FastPay. I often pay using their method especially if it's a largish amount of money. Heating repairs, car service, big purchase. Just ask the dealer or mechanic service provider or one off transaction I just ask for their account number, sort code and name. Access your PC or laptop, tablet or phone and 5 minutes later the money has been paid. Furthermore it doesn't cost you a penny if the person you are dealing with banks with a FastPay bank. PayPal? Don't need them. It's simply PayPal that convinces you that you do. And to add convenience the details are retained in your bank account webpage and it is even easier to pay them a second time. I quite agree. I had to re-instate my bank account over the past two days and one email to me confirmed my debit card was now back up, but the secind email, sent at the same time said my bank account had been refused "as the bank said it was no longer valid" Amazing because I had bought fuel with it, some shopping and paid for the Lottery on line. What's the matter with these people?   Only last night another email from PP told me how to confirm the Bank details by this method:   Log in to your PayPal account and select 'Complete bank setup' in the "To Do" box. I completely agree with all the other entries. This new page is Toy Town stuff. What I don't understand is they tell you U.S . customer service is second to none. I haven't seen a sign of any here. They know we hate the style and substance so why not agree with us and just go back to the Classic page? I have recently had my Bank details removed without my permission. As a result I had to pay twice for an eBat item and the seller repaid one of them. I was charged a £6 fee for my inconvenience and am still unable to get the remaining £148.50 back because PP can't get it's act together. They have finally re-opened my account after several days but when I tried to transfer the amount back was given a set of security questions. Each one I answered froze when I pushed the final send button. Service, please don't make me laugh! ... View more
