Siohban, I am having these issues also...although I have given up on the reader now and just using the app on it's own...(or trying to!!)  I have been advised to return the reader as have had numerous issues with it...since reseting reader and reinstalling app etc I am now faced with the location issue...seems never ending issues!!! So I have again reinstalled app and followed your advice with no change...While I think there are connecting issues with the reader I think the bigger issue is within the app... ... View more

Same issue here iwth a ZTE Blade D...just updated apps and now issue with location service, although location is set to on...I also have ZTE Qlux phone which app works on but very unstable...both phones have had connecting issues and other issues (re PPH) since using PPH app and purchasing card reader 3-4 weeks ago...I have been infromed by support to return the device for replacement as it's still under warranty...I have to travel 60km for this to happen!!! I just don't know if I want to WASTE any more time with this system and want a FULL refund!!! Plus I am highly confident it is mostly the app at fault!!! The reader f has been reset (via reset button on reader) reintall of app etc...also many issues making app very UN user friendly ...ie having to log into account each time I go into settings, or add items once done or app back button used and can't seem to include tips in transaction...(not just for each transaction but EVERYTHING else I try to do!!!)... ... Hi Spriggy, I too am looking for a solution to this...it's highly time consuming and more so frustrating ATM for me as I am new to these advanced phones and now trying to learn apps and card reader, so isn;t much fun ATM...I seem to have a glitch with the app also...seems everythig I do be it settings or inputting items into cataloge I am reverted back to the log in page EVERY time I press the done for each item in cataloge or every setting made... ... I have just purchased a card reader and about to get this thing to work for me...I tried to pair it with my phone today while out at work but failed to pair up, although my phone suggested it was paired but reader wouldn't acknowledge...once I got home and tried again the reader decided it needed an update...all done and paired well now...I am now adding items to item catalogue, however, each time I press done and yes to save cahanges it reverts me back to the log in page...sooooo very painfully slow and frustrating process!!! Is there another way around this!!?? Still playing around with this and seems most things I do when going back to previous page takes me back to log in..for example settings, card reader < at top left of app screen than I land back at log in...I am new to smartphones so just wonder if there is a tip or trick in settings for PPH or if this is noraml or an app glitch!!? ...
