Hi, about 2 months ago i bought a PC from a seller, through complications the post office never delivered it and ende dup returning ti to sender in a very slow manner, we both tried to schedual a redlivery which they outright ignored i guess. a month later i rightfully recieived my refund and orderd from a more trusted seller through a different carrier, and that one arrived with no problems, so i considered the matter closed and done with. A month and a half later the seller apperently either recieved the item or the post office considered it dead mail and ticked it as Delivered, Not even changing the last known redelivery attempt date. So the seller is using that as "proof" and telling pay pal that i recived the item, which i did not. and now, of course paypal is asking me to reimburse for the stolen money. Nothing came out of me directly, but this has me concered with how flawed and easily abused the dispute center of PayPal seems to be. Of course i am not paying for merchidise i never received but how is paypal going to handle this? it is out of hy hands as of now as i consider this an issue between paypal and the thief who just extorted the money out of them. i have no proof to show that i never received it since the post office at the time of the past 2 months had complete control over it. is this something that happens often? and how can i prevent this from happening again. i am dissapointed that paypal allowed them selves to be effectivly robbed but this is quite a concern to say the least, it makes me not really trust paypal as much as i thought.
