Thank you for taking the time to reply to my posting. Having taken your advice I sent private/direct messages to PayPal via Facebook and Twitter. At this time of writing I have received three acknowlegments on Facebook but none on Twitter. They confirmed that my private message had been read and is being dealt with. I will post an update as and when I hear back from them. As an aside, I must admit that I do prefer to use the descriptor ''hearing disabled'' for my disability as I am thankfully only ''hard of hearing'' and not profoundly ''deaf'.
