Is it on your gift card or not. In one statement you say it cannot be reloaded to your gift card, then that is is on the gift card. Gift cards are generally for purchases, not for transfers to another account. You'l probably just have to spend it like it was intended to be spent on a new purchase. If there is a phone number on the back of the card you could call that number for details.
