The excuse that all these steps need to take place in order to transfer money electronically are invalid. ACH, electronic check, etc. can transfer the same day even between different banks/entities. Holding funds for a few days generates interest which they profit from. These are the same processes for bill pay, etc.

Same issue here. They contacted me by email saying the card could not be delivered because the address is outdated. Here is the issue: Account profile address has been updated but the billing address on the PayPal debit card is the outdayed one. As others have said, there is no way to change it. The "help" pages say to click on the card in your wallet and click "update" but there is no such link. Added new address to profile and changed it to primary. Tried to remove old address from profile and it gives an error to remove it frome the card in your wallet first. No option exists for that. When you call they have no idea of what's going on. I was told to cancel my card. Please get it together PayPal.

It is anoying that it takes soooooo long to tranfer funds in to my PayPal from my bank. For a transaction that is common, and since I don't sell any more and it is the only way to get money in my PayPal, it should not take 5 days, every time. Considering I have had checks cashed the same day I wrote them to a different bank through electronic tranfer this seems very out of date to wait that long when I want to make a purchase with PayPal.
