My son bought two video games from Steam for $130 using my Paypal account. One game was flawed and he couldn't download it even after 7 hours of trying. Steam said they won't issue refunds if you've had the game more than 2 hours. Went round and round with them so finally went to Paypal. Agreed to accept a partial refund of $50 for the ONE game. After Steam refunded the $50, they then locked my son out of BOTH games that were on that original purchase. Now he can't play either of them. Tried to go back to Paypal and explain this but they just tell me the case is closed since we got a refund. I tried appealing the decision but just got the same answer as if no one even read the information. Tried dealing with Steam but they have no customer service phone number and no one seems to read the information in the support tickets they make you fill out.. If anyone has any ideas how to handle this I'd appreciate it. The kid is out $130 for nothing! Thanks for your help.
