So I have a bit of a problem. Yesterday I could'nt buy things with my paypal account unless it's from ebay or target. I called paypal and asked them why, and they said they'll look into it. Today I got an email saying my account was suspended and I have to send them my I.D and credit card statment. The problem is I'm not 18. Is there any way around this or do I have to wait 180 days until I can get my money back? I have like 2000$on it (I know it's stupid to have that much money on your paypal) and I don't really want them frozen for 6 months. I have an I.D but if I send it to them they'll probably see that I'm not 18. Is there any way that I can just get the money from the account to my parents bank? They can give their I.D and information. Can anyone help me??? And before someone says "you should've waited 'till you're 18 to open a paypal" let me ask you this. Did you read the whole paypal terms of service? I never knew that you can't open a paypal account if you're under the age of 18, it never asked me for my birth date or anything. I read other people posts here and it's apperantly on their "terms of condition". Please I buy and sell constantly on that account, but I want to lose it and get my money back, rather than wait 180 days till I get the money and the account will still be deleted. Paypal says they found "some unusual activity on the credit card linked to your PayPal account." but why do I need to show my I.D for this? Why can't I just show my credit card statment? When I look at the requierments I need to respond to, when I click on "Photo I.D" it says "To help confirm your identity, please send us a copy of your photo ID that shows your name and address." So if all they need from my photo ID is my name and address, why are they demanding my whole photo ID with everything? Please help me, I don't want to have to worry about those 2000$ for 6 months.
