I had the same issue and didn't know about until it show up in my checking account. They make it look like it was my fault saying that I need to change it before submit payment. I triple check it to make sure I check the change button to the prepaid card I have used before instead of using my checking account. I have a checking account due to my pay pal credit and if I didn't have money on my prepaid card then I would use that or another credit card. I just feel it is safer to use a prepaid card especially with online shopping. The weird thing I had several items in my cart believe it was 3 different sellers. Only 1 seller items went to the correct card and the other 2 seller items went to my checking. Then this is the reply I get from pay pal. I am not a happy customer. This isn't the first time this has happen. When it happen before I thought maybe I didn't change the payment but this time I know I did because of what happen before I made sure that I did. Well next time I will take a picture of the screen or print it for proof. But today I order from ebay again but purchase them from the different sellers separately and went to the correct prepaid card and not my checking. So how is it going to right one now but when you do multiple sellers in cart it only gives you one option on the top page to change payment. It doesnt' give you that option for each seller in the cart? Has anyone seen change payment for each seller. Why would it go to one card and the other 2 went to checking account. Here is a copy of the message I got from them: I am sorry to hear about this situation, and understand your frustration and concern. When you send your payment, you are being asked to check your payment details before submitting it. Submitting your payment without making any changes is a confirmation that you authorize the information that was presented to you. PayPal is a user-initiated system. Since you have a confirmed bank account on your PayPal account, it is always your primary funding source every time you send a payment , provided you do not have money on your balance. If you want to use your credit card, you will need to make sure that you click on “Change” every time you send a payment. Otherwise, if you will submit your payment without making any changes, our system will automatically use your bank account.
