I am in the same situation. Buyer openned a claim on October 3, then item arrived and he closed the case on October 17 with Positive Feedback left without escalate...... but Paypal still hold the payment. When I contact eBay, they redirect me to Paypal saying payment is already released and, if not, it's a mistake by Paypal. When I contact Paypal, they reply that the case must be closed on eBay first. Even I saying the case was closed. After 9 days and dozens of messages, nothing is solved and the same standard replies are sent from both sides. I am eBay user since 2001, have 2047 points, 100% positive feedbacks ever..... I had just a few selling transactions in this Q3/2015 but I never seen this. Nothing I do seems to move forward to solve this pending.
