Hey JimFrits,   Thanks for providing the Community with those details, it definitely helps in getting your issue resolved! Based on what you've said, it sounds like she may have checked out as a guest, meaning she chose to pay with her credit or debit card to a merchant that processes through PayPal. This creates a record of the payment through our system, and if she were refunded this way it would go directly back to the card. Clear out the PayPal account of money, payment methods, close any active billing agreements on it, and close it. Then open a new PP account with a different email address.  Stay away from that interactive porn stuff.  Just watch clips and move on. ... View more

Because they requested to cancel, you didn't and it was the only way to undo it.   They could have broken it and sent it back like that and you can't resell it.  They also could send you back a rock and have good chance of winning the refund. They could have filed a chargeback with their credit card and you would have been charged an extra $20 in addition to the amount paid.  There are many was they can get evil on you if you do not provide customer satisfaction.  There are plenty of reported cases.   With a store, the person could just back out by not going to the store to buy and generally stores accept refunds as long as the item is in the same condition and if no returns or refunds signs are posted, the buyer can leave the store. ... When u file a dispute a seller has 10 days to respond where seller and buyer can exchange messages to work things out   If they dont respond u can escalate to a claim then ppal takes over and makes a final decision based on the info given. Ppal doesnt get in touch with the seller its up to them to respond, if they did respond u would see their response on the dispute   Pleased u got your money back and you're happy   U dont have to "do as you're told" Im just here to give advice and its your decision whether u take it or not ...
