Now this is the million dollar question! I have been searching high and low for the answer to this. Refering to this doc it should be possible to view the custom variable provided as part of the hosted button https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/admin/download-history/ -------------------------------------------- Field Name : Custom Number Description: Specified by seller in any of the following button-creation fields: PayPal Shopping Cart Custom Number Buy Now Custom Number Subscription Custom Number Format: alphanumeric Payment Button Variable: custom Related IPN Variable: custom --------------------------------------------- Ive tried every option under the sun but to no avail, it work fine for one off payment buttons, just not for subscriptions. The only thing i noticed is that in step three of the button creation where you can specify adition button params the param is ignored and not part of the html displayed.... .... other than that the custom varialble works fine, it is included as part of the ipn to my site... just never in the history. its bizzare!
