There is something called the Uniform Commercial Code that says a product needs to do what it says it'll do.  This is federal law and supersedes PayPal's "shrinkwrap" agreements.  If PayPal had any morals or ethics, they'd say "You're right.  The product does not work at all for you.  We're sorry and here is your refund".  But when you have someone at the top of the corporation who doesn't mind sleazy deals, this is what you get. ... Identity Theft, and PayPal Doesn't Care

I've received several letters from Comenity Bank that someone is using PayPal to set up an account under my name.  When I've called PayPal to get more information: what was the IP address they came in on and any other info about the crooks,  PayPal won't tell me ANYTHING!  They say they know nothing and won't give me any info about the fraud.  You know this is "Bee Ess" and they probably have a lot of data on this.  Heck, it means more fees for them if someone buys products using my identity.  Why should they rock the boat?  Like I've said before, PayPal has no ethics and customers are nothing but riffraff they have to put up with.  Comenity Bank said that Pay{Pal has all the information and that I should get it from them.  Lots of luck!  I've found PayPal tends to side with cheats, scams, rip-offs, and con artists and the heck with the customer who's being taken for a ride. ...
