There is something called the Uniform Commercial Code that says a product needs to do what it says it'll do.  This is federal law and supersedes PayPal's "shrinkwrap" agreements.  If PayPal had any morals or ethics, they'd say "You're right.  The product does not work at all for you.  We're sorry and here is your refund".  But when you have someone at the top of the corporation who doesn't mind sleazy deals, this is what you get. ... So thern it pays to NEVER use PayPal on software.  That means any con artist can set up shop and sell s/w that will never work, wait for unsuspecting buyers, and they will never have to worry about the buyer getting a refund.  Seems PayPal plays right into the hands of crooks.  Why should PayPal care - they get their fees even if the seller is dishonest.  Nice scam, PayPal. ... Identity Theft, and PayPal Doesn't Care

I've received several letters from Comenity Bank that someone is using PayPal to set up an account under my name.  When I've called PayPal to get more information: what was the IP address they came in on and any other info about the crooks,  PayPal won't tell me ANYTHING!  They say they know nothing and won't give me any info about the fraud.  You know this is "Bee Ess" and they probably have a lot of data on this.  Heck, it means more fees for them if someone buys products using my identity.  Why should they rock the boat?  Like I've said before, PayPal has no ethics and customers are nothing but riffraff they have to put up with.  Comenity Bank said that Pay{Pal has all the information and that I should get it from them.  Lots of luck!  I've found PayPal tends to side with cheats, scams, rip-offs, and con artists and the heck with the customer who's being taken for a ride. ... PayPal Ignores All Communications

I've been trying to send PayPal a "smoking gun" that proves a seller is a scam artist and to refund my money.  PayPal sends a reply that they can't correspond with me because they don't recognize my email as valid and to go in and validate it.  So, I go in, and the page already says "Address Validated", yet they keep sending me the same message.  That's how PayPal blows off cutomers they don't want to have a dialogue with.  PayPal is a very unethical company in my opinion.  I'm sure it starts right with the President/CEO.  As I've said before, they illegally aid and abet con artists.  I told them to look at my very long history with PayPal and the tens of thousands of dollars that I have put through PayPal.  Not once have I ever asked for a refund.  When I've been **bleep** by companies, I've contacted many government agencies in my state and theirs, as well as asking my attorney for help.  I have always gotten my money back plus apologies.  Because this takes a long time to put all the documentation together, I have to wait until after all my taxes are done before I start this process.  Too bad PayPal has no morals and doesn't know what "ethics" means.  If you check the 'net you'll find a ton of complaints about how PayPal **bleep** its customers.  Most people let it slide.  However, I have the time and means to pursue this and I always do!  I only wish more of PayPal's customers that have been ripped-off by PayPal would take action.  PayPal knows most people won't so they keep on with their underhanded tactics.  GET MAD, PEOPLE!  There are MANY government resources available to you when PayPal rips you off! ... After getting **bleep** by a seller, PayPal has ignored me.  I have to see if PayPal is under the jurisdiction of any banking departments.  I will continue to make waves with PayPal and have already hit many websites with my story.  Too bad they have to act like <remove>.  Probably comes down from the top. ... PayPal acting illegaly

After posting my message about PayPal siding illegally with a con artist even after I sent them actual proof, I looked at other postings.  Sure enough, PayPal has quite a history of being on the side of scammers.  I guess the lack of morals from the top has trickled down to the low level employees.  Take note: only use a credit card and DO NOT do it through PayPal.  I'm done with these cheaters (PayPal).  At least I could have asked my card company for a refund and they would've taken the time to look through all my evidence. ... PayPal is aiding & abetting con artists

I bought software that does not work.  It's almost impossible to contact the company.  If they ever received my many mails for tech support, they have never gotten back to me.  I sent PayPal a link to their website showing that their software claims to do photo recovery.  Since it doesn't, I wanted my money refunded.  I did buy someone else's software which did the job in minutes.  I sent PayPal proof of what the vendor claims but they said tough luck.  Now when I mail PayPal from their site, they keep bouncing my mails back as "we don't recognize your email address". When I go in to PayPal, it is indeed verified.  I think they are trying to blow me off.  PayPal just wants me to go away and is illegaly aiding and abetting a con artist.  I will be sending complaints to my state and Paypal's Attorneys General offices as well the Depts. of Consumer Protection of both states.  I will have to Google the President/CEO and their Board of Directors to let them know PayPal is siding with scammers.  After I get my taxes done, I will ask my attorney to send a letter to PayPal.  I don't like being ripped off.  This taught me a lesson to ALWAYS use a credit card as you have more power to get a refund if the product never worked.  I have lost all respect for PayPal and spent the day today giving my experience to as many places on the Internet as I could, and I will continue to do so.  Too bad PayPal has to be such a weasel.  I certainly will never use it again and will let others know the dangers you can run into with a less than moral company. ...
