Hello All I currently have a personal account with PayPal and am a private seller in the UK.  Is it possible to upgrade the account to Premium (or is it Premier?).  I hear this is necessary to get a PayPal debit card - but are these debit cards available for UK users?  Would be grateful for your help.  Many thanks in anticipation. ... Hello All On 25/04/18, I purchased 2 dresses and paid for them, via PayPal, from my bank account.  The transaction shows on my bank statement as dated 30/04/18.  I then received the wrong order instead of my dresses (a skirt).  It gets confusing here - I had to open an eBay return on the dresses, because of how the system works, even though I was returning the skirt I hadn't ordered.  The seller agreed the return and I received the correct order about 2 days later.  Unfortunately, I found one of the dresses was too large for me.  I immediately ordered the next size down because it was the last one in stock: due to be delivered by 12/05/18.  I returned the dress that was too large to the seller on 05/05/18.  Had a message, from the seller to say I had received a refund, for the 2 dresses I first ordered, this shows up in my PayPal account but not in my bank account where the money actually went from.  Does it take a few days for these refunds to show up in a bank account (money didn't go into my PayPal balance)?  Even more confusingly, I had a message from the seller to say I would need to open a return, on the dress I returned as too large, to get a refund.  Because of the system, I can't do this because I have already opened a return on this item and received a refund (a refund I can't find).  I am very confused about all this, nor sure what to do.  Would be grateful if the Community could help.  Many thanks. ... Hello All, I wonder if you can help me?  I have been having a some problems with a seller recently.  Last week I ordered two UK size 12 dresses - but the seller sent me one UK size 8 skirt, wrong item.  I opened a return request with eBay, then it got a bit complicated because, with the system, I had to mark the two dresses (not even received) as returned (of course, the skirt did not show in the purchase history).  I sent more than one message to the seller explaining what I wanted them to do: let me return the skirt in exchange for the correct order (two dresses).  Couple of days later they got back to me to say return wrong item and they would refund postage (haven't had postage refund to my knowledge).  Anyway, I received the correct order yesterday.  Unfortunately, I find one of the dresses, although labelled a size 12, is at least one size too big and I cannot wear it.  I have tried to open another return request on eBay but it comes up that I already have that item being returned - for the reason I have tried to explain above ( wasn't actually the dress I was returning but the wrong item received i.e. the skirt).  Looking at this seller's feedback profile, I see that several buyers have been refused refunds for items that do not fit.  This does not seem fair - some have had the same problem as myself i.e. they have been sold a dress that was wrongly sized by the manufacturer.  How can we make the right choice if the size is not described correctly?  Anyway, I have sent a message to the seller explaining why I want to return the dress for a refund.  I have also just ordered and paid for the same dress, in size 10, in the hope it will fit (it was the last one in that size).  Need money back for the dress that doesn't fit: £14.00 plus postage for sending back wrong order.  Will have lost £37.00 plus postage if neither dress fits and seller won't refund either.  Can PayPal help in this situation?  Many thanks. ... Hello,   Have just sold an item on eBay.  The listing indicates the item has been paid for with PayPal but neither the trasaction and payment have not appeared in my PayPal account.  Have had to explain to the buyer there will be a delay in sending the item because I can't see their payment.  Please, tell me what has happened and how to put it right?  Many thanks. ... Hello,  yesterday, 12/05/15, I received a payment for somthing I had sold and glanced at the available total on PayPal.  I thought this was around £30.  Today I received a purchase refund for £42.99 but my available PayPal balance shows £41.99.  (Have not made any purchases today.)  I had expected it to be around £70.  I know I should have made a note of my available balance when I looked yesterday - wish I had.  Now I seem to have no way of knowing if any money has gone missing.  The PayPal statements don't appear to show a running balance like a bank account.  Is it that the refund has not shown up in the available balance yet?  Is there some way to check a running balance on the PayPal statements?  (I find them confusing.)  Anyway, my balance does not look right.  I would be grateful if a member could offer some advice,  many thanks. ... Hello, I wonder if you can help me.  I tried to make purchases on eBay today and paid via PayPal.  £14.08 was to come from my PayPal balance and £160.82 from my bank/ Visa account.  It came up that 'checkout was successful'  then flashed up in red that some error had occurred.  When I checked the order details, I saw that all the payments had been reversed/ refunded.  On my PayPal account summary, it showed that all four payments had been reversed.  However, I got an e-mail from PayPal to say I 'had sent a total payment of £174.92 GBP and listed the sellers.  On my eBay account activity, these are listed as unpaid items.  When I click on the details, it says 'you bought this item'.  Looking at my bank/ Visa card account, I can see that the money has gone but I don't know if the transaction has gone throught or if the money will go back in a couple of days.  I am very confused & don't understand what has happened.   I phoned the PayPal helpline but they did not know how to help: the adviser said he would ask at 'a higher level'.  In the meantime, I was advised not to make any transactions on PayPal for 24 to 72 hours and they would phone me back.  I am not sure if I will hear from them.  I am very worried that I might have lost my money or that I will not get the goods I ordered.  I would be grateful for some help from the community.  Many thanks.   Regards ...
