1. you can't transfer funds from a card in the UK, you can only transfer funds from a bank account linked and verified to your paypal accoiunt. 2. if you did use your bank account then the funds transfer would take 5-7 days to hit your paypal balance. 3. if you buy something paypal will only take from that balance if there are cleared funds in there at the time of the purchase, if not then they automatically take it directly from your bank account (unless you have a card attached and switch the funding source to a card during the payment process). 4. The direct debit would show the payment that was made to your seller, it is not a monthly amount it just shows in your online banking the last payment made via paypal.
