I tried to pay for shipping and got the following error message:   Unable to print the requested label at this time. The following error occurred. We are unable to generate your label right now. Please try again later.   This started today. Is anyone else getting the same message? Is the only way to fix this by calling customer service or are they going to see my message here? ... View more

Secure verification problem: linking bank account

I was trying to link my bank account but I keep getting the following error messages:   We're sorry. We're not able to process your request right now. Please try again later. or Something went wrong - We couldn't link your bank.   I tried linking it manually but doesn't work. Customer rep said that they need to send me a text message to verify who I am. Told her that my cell phone doesn't accept any text messages. Customer rep said that's the only option they have to verify. I asked what happened to sending an email and was told they don't use that method anymore. Supervisor said the same thing.   Is sending a text message to a cell phone the only way? If someone doesn't have a cell phone or if their cell phone doesn't receive text messages, how do you verify? They use to verify via email, which was quick and secure. ... View more

Even if I have proof that he hasn't picked it up yet? Both the postal office website and customs website from Spain state that they're still waiting for him to submit documents.   Under PayPal policy for sellers, I found this:   Research local laws, duties, and taxes Duties and taxes Always make sure your customers are aware that additional duties charges may apply and it’s their responsibility to pay these fees before they can collect their goods.   He was notified prior to purchasing that he's responsible for any fees his country might charge him (customs, importation tax, etc.). What I  suspect is that he wants to get the money by filing a INR dispute and then use that to pay for the importation tax to get the item. Buyer from Spain filed a INR dispute saying the item was blocked. First, he said that it was delivered to someone else, then he said that it was stolen, then admitted to me that he doesn't want to pay custom fees, and now he's filed a INR with PayPal.
