As I conduct a bit of a personal security review of my financally related online accounts, I looked into My Preapproved Payments on PayPal. There's quite a list there of vendors marked ACTIVE. Most of them are stores I have purchased from recently, but used PayPal only to pay for a single point of sale transaction. No expiration date is lsted for these active lstings. This concerns me. Why would companies like HSN, PetFlow, Zappos and others be on this list? I have not given them any authoriztion for future charges to my account. I completely understand why a servce that I pay for monthly would be on this list. But I would imagine they should only be active as long as they are actively servicing an account. Am I misunderstanding the purpose of this list? It would seem most secure to suspend or cancel any listing for which there is no active agreement. Is that accurate? Thanks! Amy
