@Sparrow18   Partial refunds are normal.   Partial refunds are normal during the dispute stage OR if the seller agrees with the buyer a private arrangement.   But if a dispute is found in favour of the buyer then a full refund is made only on return of all of the order.     ... Afficher plus

I will tell you why a buyer might need the 180-day-return option.  It is late September, and back in early June I had purchased a keyboard for which I have a claim now.  The seller kept saying they had it in the mail, they were re-sending it, or such.  I did not want to open a case while it may be no fault of the seller if it hasn't arrived; I make international orders all of the time and I don't have deep pockets for shipping to arrive the very same month as sent.  This new policy stops requiring me to jump instantly on sellers victimized by blink-of-the-eye shipping speed standards.  I just want the product I paid for, not a race to the most costly shipping possible. ... Just spoke with PayPal a few days ago regarding the same topic.   Yes, you can open a second account, with a second bank account, second email address, etc...   You will also need a second EIN to go with the second account.   Call PayPal customer service to explain your exact need for the second account and to clarify any questions you have regarding the second account. They were extremely helpful and answered all our questions quickly.     ... Afficher plus

You have two options, neither of which is to ignore the claim.   If the transaction clearly shows the correct size of the coat and the customer is stating it was not the size ordered, you may want to send them a prepaid shipping label to return the coat to you and once received and it is found to be in the same condition you sent it, refund the purchase price of the coat, but not the shipping charges.   You can argue with the customer, forcing them to keep a coat that does not fit them and take your chance with PayPal support taking your side.   If, when you get the coat back and it is worn or damaged in any way, then you will have to work out an amicable solution.
