I filed a claim against Battery Junction initially because I didn't get an item anywhere near the shipping time of 5-7 business days. It took around ten business days. To ship from Connecticut to Connecticut. The seller lied and said they had to ship batteries via DHL that USPS doesn't accept shipment of lithium batteries. They do, it just has to go ground. First Class would've taken 3 days. They sent them through DHL which shipped them to Tennessee, where they eventually dropped them off at a USPS facility there, a week later, to have them shipped back to my state. In my complaint the seller promised to refund my shipping charges. It's here in the notes history on Paypal. I mentioned that in my complaint several times. Paypal sided with the seller saying it showed the item was delivered.    So is that the bottom line with Paypal, that the item got delivered, not the promise of the shipping refund or the time or anything? And the company claims they didn't issue a refund because of my Paypal claim. And now that I lost that they'll never refund the shipping.  ... View more

Is Paypal actually letting people know the best way to rip people off is using Paypal? I had an Amazon seller send me money to buy one of their items and review it. I didn't buy it in the time frame they wanted so they opened a dispute. Paypal sided with them, of course, but I responded asking what it was I was supposed to send them, no reply, and explained, no reply. Plus Paypal lets users have fake email addresses so emailing the "buyer" just got me a bounceback message. I can't even appeal because to do so you either have to provide proof with tracking that you sent them item, or that you sent a refund. There's no other way to appeal. I'm just amazed that it's apparently legal for me to use my Paypal card to buy something, file a SNAD report or missing item report, and I get the item for free. Does Donald Trump own Paypal? ... So apparently Wells Fargo isn't on Paypal's list of approved banks for instant confimr. It gives me the option, then, after I try to instantly confirm it goes to the 3 day confirm method. And that's fine and all but when has Paypal ever taken 3 days to take money for something? Ever? So why should I have to wait 3 days? ... View more

Why in the world would anyone use PP to process credit card transactions when the fees are higher, not FDIC insured, they allow people to file SNAD reports canceling the payment part of the transaction, and randomly freeze your account for no reason?   I've used PP for a few years now to sell stuff on Ebay. I'm not a power seller, and I have maintained a 100% seller rating. The amount of times I had issues with PP is just just silly. If I opened a physical store, PP would be the very last choice I would ever use. I would think someone would have to be completely off their rocker knowing PP isn't FDIC insured and makes you agree that they can freeze your account and never return any of your money for any reason, or no reason at all and still sign up with them.   How about you guys? ... Between Paypal and Ebay (same company) the Bose radio I sold for $259, cost me $35 in fees. But I had to spend $38 to ship the item also. So of the $279 I got total (I charged $20 for shipping) I'm left with $206. How is that fair?   I see more and more sites popping up on a frequent basis offering auction without the exorbinate fees of PP/EB. Think they'll ever lower their fees or stay this way until they're as popular as Myspace?   Paypal Adrian wrote "We charge fees in a few basic scenarios:" which is total b.s. After I started selling I made it to like 20 sales at 100% which was too low for Paypal and they started holding my payments. Recently they stopped and I would get paid right away for sold items.   I just got an email today saying my payments would be held from now on. Again. I have more sales and my rating is still at 100% WTF is going on? Why stop doing it then start again?   It's like Paypal is saying we would rather you use a different service and promote your goods elsewhere. Don't they make money off us? If every Ebay seller stopped using Ebay what would Paypal do? I mean why punish people with good ratings?   I wonder if I can get 21 days of services from Paypal and make them wait till after the 3 weeks to pay them and only if I'm satisfied. ... View more

I got the email saying I could buy now, make payments in July of 2011, so I ordered something on Ebay and they denied me, of course. I tried several times throug Ebay and the seller to cancel the transaction, but both are ignoring me. Two things:   1) Why wasn't there an option to see if you qualified BEFORE making a purchase?   and 2) Is there any way I can get the transaction canceled?
