tried that you get nowhere only we cant do anything but contact card services if you go through facebook or twitter you try ringing customer services you never get through this is a consistent and persistent problem with 100s if not thousands of the paypal mastercards at a time since September. I honestly do not understand why paypal havent transfered the contract to another card provider, as the company whos name escapes me has breached their contract and service standard so many times. Probably like other customer i will end up reporting them to the ombudsman.

Repeat of the problems from september when card declining at retailers, but funds been taken from account. Ring paypal customer services, promise call back, 12 hours later no call back. Open paypal dispute paypal decline it as on the card. I believe now legally as they are a bank they are breaking the law with regards to problems on card payments.

I would think carefully before you get one of these cards. Ive been having nothing but constant problems, the card declines, when sufficient money. September didnt work for 4 weeks. People having problems with payments declining and payments still taken on mass. Today 12/12/2014 card declined, money still debited. Cant get through to customer services, paypal themselves would not help me as its on the card. So £240 out of pocket and no help from paypal. Im very close to placing a formal complaint to the financial ombudsman now, as been four months of problems now, as a service its a joke.

and shockingly when trying to pay £188 with £210 available card declined. THIRD MONTH IN A ROW NOW THIS HAS HAPPENED, GETTING TO BE A JOKE

Well we all had most of september where our cards would not work. So im not going to play the idiot and pretend to wonder whats going on. In a nutshell, its declining in shop, its declining online. Theres hundreds of pounds in excess in my account than im trying to spend. SHOCKINGLY YET AGAIN NO ONE CAN GET THROUGH TO PAYPAL ACCESS CARD CUSTOMER SERVICES. QUESTIONS -------- 1. WILL CUSTOMERS BE LIED TO YET AGAIN ABOUT THEIR BEING A SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM? 2. WILL PAYPAL ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR IS A SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM WITH THEIR CARD PROVIDER (A THIRD PARTY COMPANY). 3. WILL THIS TAKE ALMOST A MONTH TO RESOLVE 4. AS CUSTOMERS SHOULD WE NOW BE CONTACTING THE FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN DUE TO THE RE-OCCURENCE OF THIS PROBLEM? 5. WILL PAYPAL THEMSELVES TAKE STEPS TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM AT THEIR CARD PROVIDER, ESPECIALLY BEARING IN MIND IT SEEMS TO BE THEIR CARD PROVIDERS FAULT, SO ONLY A GOOD THING SURELY FOR PAYPAL TO ADMIT THEIR IS A PROBLEM WITH THEIR THIRD PARTY PROVIDED CARDS 6. WILL WE HAVE SOME HONESTY AND OPEN-NESS ABOUT THE ISSUE THIS TIME?????

i was refunded monday, but i did a lot of holding pover three phone calls and id kept the declined transaction slips to sort the issue. And when i did get through it was resolved promptly, its just the getting through. But it is becoming a major inconvenience the card been constantly declined and embarassement (although thats decereasing it so often). so will try to ring them in a minute and resolve the declined transaction problem.

exactly same problem monday declining and taking money (which has been refunding) tuesady declining (not taking funds though) weds 12pm access card still declining (not taking funds though) this is becoming a major inconvenience
