On Saturday my account was limited after withdrawing a measly £8. PayPal requested invoices, business information, proof of postage on certain items amongst other things. The reason given was they needed more information on my recent sales, which I thought was fair enough until I seen the information requests above. I mean seriously, it's easter and a bank holiday in the UK right now, the Post Office has been closed since Friday so I'm wondering what PayPal are expecting on that front. I dispatch the items tomorrow, provide tracking ID and wait 48 hours to see whether or not I get my money for items I've already sent? That's not how business works at all, a sucessful business anyway. My PayPal account is confirmed, verfieied and everything like that. The items I sell have really little profit margins so the money PayPal are holding is mostly to pay for our own expenses. If that money is held for days on end it means we fail our weekly repayments for the loan we took out to buy the stock which then results in financial penalties and loss of business. This is not just about the money it's about my confidence in PayPal almost being shattered. It seems if your business does well then PayPal will punish you by holding your money. I've never had issues with my PayPal account, no disputes or any of the sort and I've been with PayPal for two years, yes two years.
