I withdrew some money the other day and had to wait the 72 hours. It cleared on the minute ( how strange ?!!! ) I've just been paid again through Ebay and received a message that i have to wait 72 hours again...so i cancelled it. Is there anyway this resolves itself in the next day or so and i can attempt a withdrawal and see the usual 2 hour message ? Two on the trot is ridiculous - we're consistently fed the line that this is random or consistent hold ups will not happen. This 72 hour rule for " security reasons " is such an obvious con it's ridiculous. Why don't they say " Our commission for handling your money is not enough for our deep pockets so we'd like to keep your money as long as possible " If there was the odd occasion that the money cleared after, say, 28 of the 72 hours then it would be less disagreeable, but it's always the full 72 hours.
