Sorry to hear about what happend  but that is an all to common occurance,  the only problem i saw was it appears that you did not get the  Signature required  option from the post office  that way you have proof that they did indeed sign for the item. You could file a police report but siince it was just shoes they probably wouldnt do much about it ... View more

Well I see that you are learning the truth about how paypal really works,  How much did you lose?  If I was you  I would inform the buyer that you will be filing a police report in their town. If its an high dollar item I would go after em using local  cops you would be surprised  how  fast you will get your money back if they know the cops are involved ... View more

I have had the same issue  and this is what i found out. According to PsyPal the internal security  at paypal will block high risk items  IE laptops ipods  Etc,, this only applies if you are using the feature that lets you pay for the item  AFTER you have received it, then paypal debits the amount from your funding source once you have received the item. i asked if there was a Dollar amount limit  they said no but if they are blocking a $500 laptop then i cant see them allowing ANYTHING at that amount of money to go through  now if you want to pay for it with out the  "Pay after you get it" feature you will need to uncheck that option in your account.  Whats crazy is that they wouldnt allow me to buy the laptop but i was able to buy  $500 dollars worth of  tires and a $234.00 cold air intake system all with in a 5 minute window, once they block the sale  your only way to get it  is to pay directly with a CC  using the send money feature on your paypal acount ...
