Quick Question About Sending Payments

Hi guys, Okay, I just have a quick question, which is probably going to sound really stupid. Today I used an American Express prepaid gift card to send $200 to a certain e-mail address. At the bottom of the payment screen, they had a listing for my "Billing Information", which is my home address. So my question is, is PayPal going to actually send me a "bill" in the mail that lists this transaction? Sending A Payment As "Goods" Vs. "Gift"?

Hey guys, A few days ago I sent someone $220 to buy some vintage video games. I sent the payment as "goods" since that's what I'm paying for, but the guy said that I need to send it as "gift" instead. He tells me that since I sent it as "goods", the payment will remain with a "pending" status and he cannot access the money and I will be able to "charge him back" at any time. So I need to take the money back and resend it as "gift". Can someone please explain to me the difference between the two methods of sending the money? Also, I see no possible way of taking the money back myself. Is there a way to do this, or will the guy have to send it back to me? Why is it that this is happening just because I sent the money this way? Has anyone else heard of a problem like this? Thanks for your help, guys. 🙂 ... View more

Payment Cannot Be Sent?! Please Help?!?!

Hey guys, So I paid this guy $100 to perform this online service for me (it's complicated to explain what he did, but that's not important). He was not successful, so as promised, he tried to give me a full refund. For some reason, he said he was unable to click the "Send A Refund" button, so he needed to just send the money directly to my PayPal e-mail address. But when he tried to do this, he received an error message that said "We're sorry, but we can't send your payment now" He tried sending it to me from several different accounts he has, but the same thing happened. He is able to send money to other people, so I don't think the problem is his accounts. But I don't see why my account should be the problem, everything seems to be perfectly fine on my end.
