Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe PayPal needs you to confirm that you're, well, you. The purpose of verification is so that PayPal can use an independent 3rd party to determine that your identity is true and accurately stated in your PayPal account. Moneypak's can be sold without verification. Do you see the problem now?

Hello, allow me to explain my problem. It's not that I want to plain out remove a card from my paypal and I get that error message. My problem is for the past several months I've been using my brother's card for my transactions because my card expired and I forgot to reset it (An email notice would've been a fantastic idea...) so it switched to the next available source. Anyway, I noticed this while I was about to pay for an Ebay item that required an instant payment before buying it. So I got rid of the page and went to go change the info. This is where that error message comes in "You may not remove your back-up funding source while an instant transfer is still pending." In hopes to just cancel the "buy" I loaded Ebay back up and looked around. There was no history of me even needing to "pay" for it or that I "bought" the item. (Please notice: He gave my the card to buy him an item a while back. I am not doing this in attempts to "cover up" the situation. I've already paid him back the money I owe, due to this I can't exactly afford the item I wanted to buy anymore.)
