I have just tried about 5 new passwords and each time I am told "Don't use accents in passwords". And yet the page for entering anew password specifically says "use upper case and lower case letters, numbers and symbols" and does not say there are any symbols that are not allowed. Please PayPal, it takes a long time to invent a new password. It is really annoying to try to invent a secure password without knowing what symbols are or are not allowed, and then to be told AFTERWARDS "Sorry, your password includes a symbol that is not allowed but we won't tell you which one." The mere statement "Don't use accents in passwords" is not much help - the term "accents" is hardly a word with a standard recognised definition. Come on PayPal, just make it simple for us by listing what symbols are allowed or not allowed on the page where we enter our password - not on the rejection page, after we have spent so long inventing and entering a new password.
