Hi. I've had an account with Paypal for many years and I don't usually keep money in my account, instead it justs drafts from my primary funding source. I recently opened a new bank account and changed it to my primary funding source. When a regular recurring payment billed a few days ago, instead of taking it from the new account, Paypal took it from my old account that I'm in the process of shutting down. This caused me to overdraft and have a $35 fee with the bank. In addition, it now says that they will attempt the charge again in 3 days. I tried to call today and the wait time to speak to someone is 45 minutes - 1 hour. Do you know if they will reimubrse me for this overdraft fee they caused? Should I remove the old account from my Paypal account (I was leaving it there for the time being until I got my account closed at the bank.) and will that keep them from trying the payment again from the old account? I sent an email help request to Paypal but I haven't had good results with those in the past, so I'm concerned. Thanks for your help.
