My Paypal debit card was stolen out of my purse and I had two fraudulent charges placed before my limit was reached. Someone called me from the credit card company to verify many more attempted charges and I told them I had not done them and they cancelled my account. I have emails from Paypal thanking this me for those purchases, but nothing showing that they are being investigated. The money to cover them has been taken from my bank account. I went on the Paypal site to dispute the charges and it will not let me. Even though I went through their procedure under the Resolution Center and chose the transaction from the list of charges to my account, I'm getting this message: "The ID number you entered does not correspond to a payment and is ineligible for submission through this webform. If you want to dispute an authorization, please call Omaha Customer Support to resolve the issue." I cannot find any number for Omaha Cust Support anywhere on the site, nor any number for Paypal. What should I do? I've already filed a police report locally since this card was stolen at my workplace, but I really need Paypal to reverse these charges. Thanks for your help.
