Hello PayPal, Our company invoices customers using PayPal -> Request Money -> Create an Invoice. Recently, some customers, when they go to make payment, recieve the following error message: "We're sorry. The money request you received was sent to a different email address. Please log in using that email." This is different than the way PayPal used to work. With the old system, customers could pay our invoices using any PayPal account or credit card they wanted--it was completely their choice and at their convenience, regardless of the email address to which the invoice was sent. With your new system, PayPal is no longer willing to accept payment if the customer wants to pay it using a different account. This to us is a showstopper. We are not willing to inconvience our customers in this way. How they pay the invoice or what account they use should be entirely their choice and at their convenience, and if you are going to add new restrictions, i.e. if you are going to refuse payment from a customer who wants to use a perfectly valid PayPal account to pay an invoice, simply because it is not the same address we sent the invoice to, then we will no longer be using PayPal to invoice our customers.
